CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS WITH UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN
Yog Manthan celebrated Christmas’18 with underprivileged children. Entire program was very well organised. They were welcomed by chandan abhishek at the gate. They were welcomed by Yog Manthan’s Founder & Gen Sec. Dr. Poonam Singh.
Dr Poonam introduced children with the team of Yog Manthan and also spoke with them and provided knowledge & importance of good posture and how yoga can help in their studies to improve concentration & enhancement of memory. Post introduction and ice breaking, entire group was divided in three parts for the team building, mind and body co-ordination game. These games were for all age groups. Children seems to be very happy and took part in each activity very enthusiastically. Even Yogmanthan team also took part in those games and enjoyed with the kids. Each and every person in that hall was a kid at that point in time. Post this activity kids were introduced to some Yogic postures & hand mudras which can help them in their studies and can keep them fit and energetic all day through.
Thereafter some important Pocket knowledge tips were given by our education panellist Mrs Shakti. She guided kids how they should keep themselves, and environment clean, how to manage and keep their books properly, she guided that no kid should carry question back to their homes till they are resolved. She guided always to have three questions in mind – What , Why , How … the most catchy point for the kids were that they can complain for anything to god in life but not about the 24 hours in the day as it is same for the successful people and for the person who wastes time . It is in our hands how to make the best use of it. Kids listened to her very carefully and acknowledged and promised that they will keep them in mind always.
Post some serious talk comes the Fun frolic event where one group was asked to decorate Christmas tree and rest two Groups were made to dance on some peppy children rhymes. Each group decorated Christmas tree turn by turn.
Post beautiful decoration of Christmas tree, children were made to sit and have the delicious breakfast along with distribution of chocolates and fruit drinks. This was followed by the distribution of Winter Jackets by the guests to all children.
The whole celebration concluded with beautiful smiles & content hearts among children.
